Where do they work?

I am in midtown and our building engineer said the building is stable and there is no reason to evacuate.

My husband and I felt it, we are in Massapequa Park. We were sitting on our sofa and all of a sudden the sofa started swaying like we were on a boat or something. I thought hubby was somehow rocking the sofa LOL! Then we looked at each other and figured it must eb a mild earthquake or something. We looked across the room and saw the curtains were swaying also, as if in breeze. It lasted for what I felt was quite a bit of time, minute at least.
