i saw a sign outside a mineola pizza place across from the train station that said long island's best wings. who are they to make such a claim?? i tried them...not the best..careful what you see posted outside a restaurant..it's a great advertising scheme.

I think I know the place you're talking about. Haven't been there in years but I always thought they had pretty good wings. Awful pizza though.
There is a place in Greenlawn called Lisa's Buffalo Grille. I've ordered them "hot" and they were. They have 2 hotter sauces as well as medium, mild and bbq. The best wings I have had in a while.
My favorite wings! Washed down with a couple pints from there and the Blue Point tasting room down the block.
Don't tell anyone they have $0.25 wing nights (and I won't say when) because I hate waiting for a table. Wife and I go all the time and have a great meal with beers for just $25! And free entertainment to boot!
They have Maibock on tap right now too. So glad we bought close enough to walk home!
I just found out that WINGS OVER is a Chain, I wish they
would open another location out near LIE Exit 62 area
