I never said anything about the ones hanging around 7-11 being illegals so not sure where you pulled that out of. In fact, its more a homeless crowd that hangs out there, and mostly white. See the police blotters that list all the crime right in that area, and on Cherub lane? IMO, the homeless are problem #1, the illegals #2.

Take a look at who the Republicans have been putting on their ticket.

We're not THAT stupid, sorry!

Get some better Republicans to run for office.

You need people who, if they're fed-up, need to stand-up and vote out incumbents, because no one in Washington is going to impose term-limits or campaign reform. Not when things are going so swimmingly for the ruling class in this county.
best post I heard all week but obama is living proof how limited the president's power really is.

As for the illegal immigrant boogeyman being Obama's fault... LULZ!
THOSE KOOKS NEED TO BURN IN HELL!!!! I call them TRASH. I doubt the republicans will be relevant in the next 20 years.

Port Jeff Station and Upper Port are now Hempstead/ Skid Row it really is sad. There are many illegal aliens, african americans dealing, and illegal apartments in the area. Since the homeless/ gang population who come here from other areas to use PJS as a drug selling haven to the many many homeless there population exploded tremoundously making the town lose appeal. SCPD could help out but there budget is stretched I believe.

Illegal apartments are not the issue. It is the most common thing on Long Island in just about every town.

Absentee landlords allowing their houses to be carved into multiple rentals (with 12 or more in a house) and flophouses would be more apropos for PJS.

What about Farmingville? Homestead Drive in Coram? Like I said before, this is a long island thing. It is more prevalent in certain areas but definitely not exclusive to PJS by any means.

The loitering of those flophouse inhabitants are more visible in PJ and Farmingville, in HV its hidden in that area.

With all due respect, the thread title asks if PJS is becoming comparable to Brentwood & CI. The problem I mentioned is one of the QOL issues PJS shares with Brentwood & CI (as well as the areas you've included.)

Not Homestead Village, Homestead Drive. If you go down that street specifically and go by the 80's and 90's, you'll notice it.
