What areas on long island have the lowest jewish populations especially near melville? Are there any that there are only christian? Are there many communities with gay people in these areas?

Why would that be of interest to you?

Incidentally, "Jewish" is capitalized.

The only place that I can think of in that area that has a very low concentration of Jewish-Americans is Wyandanch. As for homosexuals in this town, I doubt there is an above average concentration though I don't know.

Actually, I can't think of an area anywhere in the NYC Metro Area that isn't filled to the brim with homosexual Jewish people.

Luckily for you, OP, Melville is close to Huntington, which is host to the long-running and very colorful Long Island Gay Pride Parade! Coming up in June I think.

Don't you think that maybe people could take the tiniest offence to that? You should look elsewhere, maybe like the south. By the way there is already a thread for this.

Amityville, East Massapequa, Lindenhurst, West Babylon, Wheatley Heights, Hicksville, and Farmingdale don't have too many Jews, and Christians are plenty.

Unless you throw Blacks, Indians and other Asians, Mexicans, and a few Muslims under the bus as well, these areas may work for you.
