We go every year. I avoid it on weekends. But then you have certain summer camps that go during the week. I think the best bet is to go on a day that is overcast, anytime we've gone and it was cloudy it was a ghost town there.
I wouldn't bother.....i find it's best to get there right when they open, go on all the highly sought after rides first...otherwise you'll spend half the day waiting.
I wouldn't go there if you paid me....the scum of LI run rampant there, cutting lines, being rude. I'd much rather drive west to an out of state waterpark.

That craap goes on everywhere. If there are buses, the undesirables will come!
