Why are there so many statues on Long Island? I visit in Long Island and I go to places like Copiague, Woodbury, Lindenherst, Merrick, Lynbrook, Queens, JFK airport, and Northport. I say to myself, why are there so many statues?

They are actually some of LIs former residents frozen in carbonite.

My two night men who I pay very well are probably playing sitting statues right now. Come Friday they will be standing statues in the parking lot trying to figure out why I fired them.

Plenty of statues of the Virgin Mary and that jockey fella with the lantern.

I also see a lot of statues of boats on the side of people's houses. There are so many statues that every street is like a fancy Manhattan art museum.

What we need around here are more garden gnomes. Not the guy from Travelocity, but the type from Harry Potter.

When you ask yourself, what do you answer?

Do you mean statutes?

I thought this thread was going to be about how there aren't many statues on Long Island. Are there a lot? I can't think of any off the top of my head right now...
