Check out the brown bag toting statues leaning up against the wall of the deli on the corner of Patton and Straight Path in Wyandanch. They have to be statues since they're in the same spot everyday I drive by.

I also see a lot of statues of boats on the side of people's houses. There are so many statues that every street is like a fancy Manhattan art museum.

I was wondering if that's what the OP meant.

No. I mean there are many statues. I see them and I ask why there are so many? I answer that there are many statues. Not boats or statutes. I am from Long Island.

Update: I was just informed that those are real boats on the sides of houses, not statues.

Good call on the Smithtown Bull.

We used to decorate the Robert Moses statue on Main St in Babylon every Halloween. Not even sure if it's still there.
