Hi I am trying to find a apartment in nassau county I dont really know were to look i tryed a few sites and alot of the prices are really high for a 1 bedroom. I tryed craigslist but the 2 i saw was not what ia m looking for. i tryed a agent the few she sent me in a e-mail are now taken. does any one know of any site to see apartments. someone meditation Multiple Listing Service of Long Island. I dont know how to find apartments from that site i think you need to be a memeber.
was wondering if any one had any tips or suggestion
FYI, both HotPads and Homes.com get their info from MLS - why not go to the source?
The OP mentioned that he found the rents very high for many apartments. We don't know what his budget is - maybe it's not sufficient for the current market. Right now, the rental market is strong, which is reflected in the asking prices (supply and demand!). That's probably why the ones you saw were gone...
Thank you all for your help. I am having a lot of trouble finding a decent place. I think it crazy to pay $1400 for a basement i know nassau county is close to the city but it seems crazy. I am going to keep looking. i guess i am back at my parents for now 32 and at my parents I don't have much going to impress a decent women.
I am looking to pay no more then $1300 i don't want a basement i work in bay ridge brooklyn so i was hoping for central nassau but that doesn't seem like its going to happen. i would prefer a area like plainview or new hyde park. maybe i am aiming for to nice of a area.
try the eagle rock apt units in hicksville, seems like the only apts that are some what affordable, i think cheapest one is 1500 tho
