Check Babylon, Lindenhurst, Freeport, and Island Park. That's where there's alot of devastation
I heard, I work in the copiague SD and we are closed all this week due to severe flooding and no power. My nieves frind lives in venetian shores and had 4 feet of water in her basement.
A few from our backyard - very large pine tree that fortunately missed the house, but took down the power lines and snapped the utility pole in half (pole was rotting already). It's the neighbor's tree and of course most of it is now on our side.
And one from another street which is partially on top of someone's house. Of course not as bad as those near the water.
i gotta say these photos are nothing compared to what I've seen. These pictures make it look like Sandy was a walk in the park.
Yeah they are nothing compared to some other areas I have seen. I wanted to take pictures in mym mom's neighborhood but I forgot my camera that day . With the gas shortage I can'r even go out and about to take more photos.
