OK, I get it...no power, no ability to take cards. But power is up in almost every business Ive been in and the cards work fine...only when I made them try it.

I'm guessing its another scam to collect cash to avoid the taxes right?

Scam to hide the gouging prices they are charging. Notice they will not give you a receipt either.

Mcdonalds here is doing that. Doubt it's for a shady reason.

Pretty much all fast food places and alot of gas stations have been doing this since the storm hit.

From what I understand "cash only" is normal after a storm as the links with the banks may be down, not working right, etc.
