Husband has a formal offer from a company in Hicksville. For relocation assistance, [we currently live in Delaware], rather than providing temp housing, and then paying for the move, they offer a flat sum of $10,000. I'm guessing $6,500 would move us into a place, but he would need to be there temporarily looking for a place. Are there any weekly rentals available other than hotels for $144 +/ night or is that our best option. We do no have access to those kind of funds to get a place upfront before his start date, if it would even be possible to find a place in a weeks time ? Any suggestions would be helpful.
