Good News for Bus commuters who take the N6. The bus company is reinstating the Elmont Rd and Hempstead Turnpike Express bus stop that was cut when the new company took over back in Jan 2012. This means that the Eastern western half of Elmont and Valley Stream will have quick access to buses going to NYC. This came after much lobbying, letter writing, petitioning and more. I would like to thank the Tri State Transportation Campaign, Long Island Jobs with Justice and many others who continue to fight for better transportation. There is more work to do, our buses are still unreliable, need better services for all and especially the disabled.

Thanks to them including me, NICE Bus listened to Nassau County Legislature Carrie Solages and added n6x stop at Elmont Rd in both direction.
