Found a great apartment in Mineola for $1975 (this is negotiable)

We've been looking on and off for awhile. About a year and a half ago we found a place we fell in love with but didn't pull the trigger on account of wanting to save more money.

Now we are back to looking and found this great place for $1975. Walking distance to the train, restaurants, etc. (and work!) We have seen some pigstys for in the 1500 range, which is leading us to believe that we will have to be in the 1800-1900 range in order to get into a good building with nice apartments. (We are not looking at apartments in houses)

Thoughts?

Thanks!
