I know I am a little late to the game. However, I had secured a landscaper about 6 weeks ago. My house needed a spring cleanup, thatching, aerating, rip out of dead plants, compost, and seeding. The landscaper I had secured was able to complete the cleanup of both the front and back yard, but could only thatch and aerate, compost, and seed the front yard because he could only obtain 1 yard of the compost.
During the past 6 weeks, I have been trying to get him to come back to perform the job on the back yard, but I've gotten excuse after excuse and has canceled twice the day before he agreed to perform the job. The breaking point came when I had people over for Memorial Day and they kept saying, "I thought you had a landscaper, he did a bad job" and I had to explain to everyone that he hadn't gotten to the back yard yet.
Anywho, can anyone recommend someone or someone(s) that are reliable. At this point, reliability is very important to me.
At this late in the game I found the best thing to do is try to use who your neighbors are using. They will take you on board since they are right there anyways. It wont impact their schedule much.
My sons they are very good doing the landscaping. You know where they can get the hire for landscaping? I try to tell them to no be lazy and do the landscaping.
I'm also looking for someone to seed my backyard in a month so can you please recommend someone in the Bellmore (North) area.
Thank You
