What about a positive post for a change?? Geeze no one wants to hear someone else's complaints about taxes etc.... We are all in the same boat but we don't need to keep bringing it up especially when this fellow LI'er was really excited. Not all of are miserable living here you know. I am happy today is a beautiful day as well. I hate it when people say they Love LI only to get shot down by someone who is a misery merchant. If you don't like it here move, negative comments always ruin a positive thread.

You move. Some of us just don't think it's all that interesting or informative to read threads like "it's a nice day today." Sure it's positive. Positively tea social or kindergarden. Whatever. Enjoy the day. It's summer ya know. Avg temps around 80 in August. LI is wonderful. Rain tomorrow maybe. Be sure to post about it.

Then don't read or respond to threads like this.

We have some rabbits by us. They munch munch munch on that grass. Saw them living up to their phrase one day and were humping like rabbits.

They scurry off real fast if you get too close though. lol

Ooohh! I want their autograph man but they don't hang around!!.....nothing like wildlife here on LI!.....When I don't see Frick and Frack I miss'em!...

It WAS a beautiful day. One of my favorite things to do during the summer is to go for a walk in the early evening, after dinner. The temperature was absolutely perfect for it. I pass people walking their dogs, and today I even met someone in my neighborhood walking their pet pig. I stopped at 7/11 with my empty thermal mug and got it filled for a buck and a quarter - then sipped it all the way home. It may be simple but life IS good

Exactly! Then don't post on the thread!! Who cares if you don't find it interesting? God forbid some positive things are said about LI. It's crazy that a positive thread has to always be derailed by the someone whining about property taxes, traffic, or NIMBYs for the 10000th time even if the thread has nothing to do with it.

Cry me a river. LI is just sooo nice today. LOL
Spare me. If some fool wants to post about picking blueberries and the fact that we finally got some decent weather this week, then I will put my 2 cents in. You pansies can of course choose to not read or respond to my reply. I hope I didn't disrupt anyone from their star gazing tonight. Maybe someone saw a ground hog!

I saw the International Space Station! really cool...perfect weather here for it.

But I think I might rather see someone walking a pet pig.
