Would anyone please recommend a licensed and insured electrician to do work in the Lynbrook Village? We live have a legal 2 family house, but both units in the house (upstairs apartment and main floor apartment) run on the same electric panel and the same LIPA meter. We would like to have an electrician make separate electrical systems, one for each apartment, independent of each other -- each floor should have its own meter and panel.
The house was convered from a 1 fam to a 2 fam decades ago, but none of the previous owners bothered to split the electric. If you've had this type of work done by an electrician, we'd appreciate a recommendation. Any information regarding approximate cost, and other pertinent advice would be greatly appreciated as well.
ACA in Babylon. They are licensed and insured, I have used them many times I found them on Angies List they have great reviews. Its a private company and they are very reasonable in pricing. Here is their online info http://acaelectrical.com/
One of a very small number of contractors, of any type, that I trust so well and don't need to compare quotes with a competitor. And I'm a very persnickety, budget-minded, DIY-er, not born on LI, so it really means something to get this kind of endorsement from me.
