Hello! My family and I are moving to Long Island form SC early next year because my husband's company has relocated him to Hauppague. We will be looking for a christian community to purchase a home in. Where are the most Christian communities in Long Island? I know that it won't be like SC and that Long Island is probably very secular so we would at least like to avoid areas where there are large populations non-Christians. I know there are many Jewish in Long Island but is it the majority? Are there many of Muslim faith?

Yeah, most of Long Island is very mixed. There are not too many communities that could be considered Christian.

Perhaps Stony Brook may work and there is the Christian based private school, the Stony Brook School right there. The Stony Brook School - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I don't think it is a completely Christian community, but I don't think being a Christian would be an issue on Long Island.

There are no Christians on Long Island. I recommend you stay in SC.

Gee and we left SC and came back to LI just to get away from Christians. Better here. If you want "Christian community" Stay in SC.

Moved there as was looking for PERSONAL reasons to find a more affordable place to live than LI! Loved it there except for this one reason.
