Hello,

I just wanted to confirm and also warn you guys. If it doesn't say cannot turn right on red on a road, that means I can turn right anywhere in LI. but I believe you have to still make a full stop?

Anyway I got a ticket turning right on red (where it is allowed) but I didn't make a full stop and turned right.

I don't know what the deal is, but I am not going to turn right on red at all on that street anymore.... it sucks that it is on the way to work...

I was sitting at Rt112 and Woodside today, watching the camera flashing away at people making LEGAL left turns with the green arrow.

Why not come to a complete stop before you turn?

you must make a full stop, count to three and then proceed to make the right turn..it sucks but that is the only safe way not to get a ticket ...

As far as what the deal is, you can still make the turn on red there, but you MUST come to a full and complete stop. The law is very clear on that, very black and white and no gray area. Its similar to a stop sign, you MUST come to a complete stop, rolling it will get you a ticket every time if you are caught, because well its illegal.
