If you're talking about the 12/18 story about police misconduct and how no cops ever lose their jobs and continue to earn salaries or get pensions after behavior that would land any civilian in jail..yes that is a disgusting story.

Survey: What LI politicians say about police misconduct

Take a look at the "50 cases of police misconduct".

The worst part is that most of the politicians are so scared of the police unions that the won't do anything about it. You basically have a government sanctioned mob situation going on here. $148K when anyone else would have had their lives ruined.

Plus they get 100% CCW FOR LIFE, immunity from most firearms laws FOR LIFE, and 100% reciprocity in other states FOR LIFE.

True but cops in every state get that as well under 18 USC 926c. It's a federal law and has nothing to do with the PBA.

Which is a problem. A person with direct threats against themselves.. Ohh well. Some retired cop... Jesus give him a full carry and whatever he needs!!!!

Us normal folk need to fight tooth and nail to even get a permit to OWN a gun. Regardless of how much training we get.
