I searched through all the mover threads - not alot of people posting moves on the eastern'ish end. We're moving from Rocky Point to Wading River. Used a Stony Brook company for last two moves. First one went very well, 2nd one not so much. May use them again if we have to. There's a mover in Riverhead - Samonas Moving & Storage - has anyone used them or hear of them? I saw ratings on Yelp, but not seasoned reviewers, so don't know if I trust that. No info on BBB. I looked into Men on the Move, but I think the closest is Islandia. Riverhead would be more ideal if Men on the Move charge for Travel Time.

Thanks!

Brian Samonas of Samonas Moving is in my networking group (LeTip - Mt. Sinai chapter) Although I haven't needed his services, everyone in the group that has used him or recommended him have had only good things to say about the experience. They're a local, family run business (I believe his father founded it), the kind of company I don't mind taking the time to support.

Good luck with the move.

I used samonas moving to move a business last year. They were fantastic. It's a family run business, the price was great and they were very efficient.

Why not call and ask them?
Have had lots of good feedback about them.
