It seems that Optimum allows you to download the Total Defense Internet Security Suite for free. Has anyone ever used it? Is it any good? What features does it have? Does it include anti-virus, anti-spyware, and a firewall? What else? What features does it not have? How does it compare to products that are not free, such as Norton, MacAfee, and Webroot? Thank you.

Their website shows you what's in the suite. I wouldn't bother with those myself. Avast (antivirus and more) + Malwarebytes (malware) are always rated at the top and free. They're really all you need if you aren't grandma-age and clicking everything offered to you on the internet.

I have never used it. For AntiVirus I use ClamXAV (Mac), which is free and quite good.
