This sounds like a fun way to while away the hours, NO? Hope they let us know how many folks jumped at the opportunity.

Maybe they can have an Adopt a Storm Drain program.

Its not a bad public service project for scouts, or students who need it.

My thought is that perhaps the towns should actually have paid employees cleaning the storm drains out of all the stuff that collects in/around them and gee, at the same time, they can apply these stupid medallions they have wasted $$ on.

The towns sure can, with all the employee benefits and pensions that LIers complain about to boot.

The $30/hour garbage men are going home too early to do it. Only in NY kids. Only in NY.

Maybe those towns that need "community feel" should jump on this in the name of "community feel".
