So true and I'm sure you've noticed this applies to almost every municipal service in our area. They skate by with the bare minimum while you and I get stuck paying cadillac tax rates. Pols don't care because they're the problem, as they pander to the unions.

The SOB south of the SSP is really good! Newly repaved.

Agree that most of the roads are terrible here and the potholes need to be repaired.

^ they are continuously working on the SOB and it's really nice to ride smooth roads for a long distance. Except I have late games down in Bellmore frequently and they close at least 1 direction even at like 11pm (like tonight) and I'm forced onto 3 different highways to get home instead. It's been like this for over 3 months.
