Long Story short just venting. Who do you complain too when you feel no one has your back. My story,
Son got ticket for going thru stop sign. Officer followed him in unmarked for 1/2 to 3/4 mile then pulled him over. My son story is , he came to a stop sign behind someone in front of him who went thru the stop sign. Yet the officer ticketed my son. Went to pay ticket when got it mailed to us. went down the person did not comprehend anything that was said to her. Waited for court date. Waited an hour on line to be processed,Prosecutor said if we pay immediately it would cost more & that Police never lose going thru stop sign tickets. Would except money but not take off points. Of course the Officer after almost a year remembers my son in the black shirt(who was on the way to his job where it is mandatory to wear a white shirt), and this Officer is the best Officer in the world. My feelings is must be since he sits at stop sign and writes up at least 50 to 60 a month(quota ya know). well done griping if you are reading this ...

Pay the damn ticket and tell him to obey the vehicular laws.

Couldn't you have paid through the mail or online? Why the court date? You were pleading guilty weren't you?

Not stopping at stop signs is one of my biggest peeves. Some people barely tap their brakes and feel like it doesn't apply to them or they're above it. I'm totally ok with speeding on highways along with traffic though.

Same here. People in my neighborhood blow through stop signs lime they aren't even there. This is while kids are at the corner waiting for a school bus. Huge peeve of mine

You're not doing your kid any favors griping on his behalf. If he's old enough and responsible enough to drive, he's old enough and should be responsible enough to handle this on his own. It's certainly easy enough for any cop to ticket people who roll through stop signs - they don't need to make these things up.

Gee, your son breaks the law and you're mad because he got caught?? And you're mad because the person in front of him didn't get stopped also. GREAT parenting!!!!!

How would you feel had your son went through the stop sign and killed someone?? Or ran over a pedestrian because your son obviously wasn't paying attention??

Tell your son to pay his ticket and obey the law from here on out. It's not the cop's fault, it's not the person in front of him fault. It's your son's fault. Stop teaching him to make excuses for his behavior and grow up and be a responsible man!

Officers don't have to remember anything. They are required to write down little notes after each stop. All he has to do is read the notes on why he pulled the car over. Couldn't care less what color shirt your boy was wearing.

It's over. Make sure the money comes from your son so he learns a lesson. He knows why he was pulled over.

Perfectly fine with us, your two posts probably never would have added much to the discussions on this forum anyway.

Venting here is fine, if its something to honestly gripe about, a STOP sign isnt one of them. Farwell.
