Hello
I'll be moving to LI from NJ and need to transport my old car. What's the cheapest alternative other than auto transport services to transport one's car? I heard insurance company can tow cars at no extra cost, but they would only tow to a repair place, is it?
Any suggestions?

Rent a tow bar or tow dolly from UHaul and tow it yourself.

Your insurance company is not going to tow your car for a relocation.

Why can't you drive your car? LI to NJ is hardly an outrageous driving distance.
