Would it make a difference? Boiling water does get rid of a lot of contaminants.

We do have a whole-house 2-stage water filtration system where sediments are removed followed by a carbon system to remove chemicals once the main water line enters the house so all water outlets within the house get filtered water. We just don't have an under-sink reverse osmosis system and hope that boiling the water can be just as good when drinking the boiled filtered water.
