Looking for a place to have a small family party of about 20 adults and 5 children Would prefer something with a private room so the little one's can run around and not bother anyone. This is for a confirmation for a 15 year old.

We are willing to drive to other areas but not too far.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Sonoma Grill in Holbrook (on Sunrise Highway service rd) has a private room. nice place with good food.

ETA: I guess things changed since I moved... looks like they moved to Holtsville.

Sonoma isnt there anymore. They moved to North Ocean Ave and the Expressway Service Road.


WIth that being said....

YOu can try Mama Mia's in Ronkonkoma, they have a private room.

Or you can try Izumi Sushi/Hibachi at the old Sonoma location..

Irish coffee pub has several private rooms. They are in East Islip, food is good.

I know but it isn't all that far from Ronkonkoma and he the OP said he was willing to drive.
