I am watching extreme couponing and looks like the store they go tohas unlimited coupon policy. As I know, stop and shop, king kullen only allow 2 double coupon policy for same coupon.
Peapod online by Stop & Shop doubles coupons but only up to 99 cents I believe. Wish they doubled the $1.00 & above though. It is only for the Peapod delivery service though. I have given them tons of coupons in the past for 1 order & they double every one up to 99 cents without a problem. You put all your coupons in an envelope with your name & order # and give them to driver/delivery person when they deliver your order. Then a few days later the total of all the coupons is credited to the credit/debit card you used to pay for order. There was no limit to the amount of coupons they double last time I used them. You can call them at 1800-5PEAPOD. They do accept internet coupons up to $5. Expiration date must be clear & coupon must be scan able.
They do charge for delivery though so that might hurt the savings. Delivery is $10 for orders between $60-$100 & $7 for orders over $100. If you choose the option to pick-up your order at a Stop& Shop then the fee is $2.95. But they do the shopping for you. Love the delivery service but sometimes you don't find out something is out of stock until it is too late. Never did the pick-up so not sure if they double coupons for that service. For delivery they most certainly do double all coupons up to 99 cents. As for the delivery fee they do send codes that are good for free delivery occasionally. When they do it is not just good for one order only but good for 60 days no matter how many times you order.
Have you tried shop-Rite? My neighbor is a coupon queen but not as extreme as those on the show. She spent about $300 before coupons at Shop-Rite one time, After coupons the bill was about $100.
Extreme couponing never happens on long island. In other states and regions you have stores with no restrictions. NYC and Long Island stores try to prevent customers from attaining the $500-$1000 worth of goods for under $50 by the obsessive compulsive savers on the show. That's why you see stores like Piggly Wiggly on there.
Those people got 500 jar of pasta sauce and 100 bottles of BBQ sauce. To be honest, I don't even want that to be in my house. My house is so tiny already.
