Hi Folks. I recently landed a job in Floral Park, and was considering driving to work. But I know in Floral park you aren't allowed to park on the street for more than 4 hours at a time. So I was looking for parking lots, and the closest one to my office where non residents of Floral Park can park in, is the Creedmoor Spur Parking Field (South Tyson Avenue across from school playground). The parking pass costs $187 for six months, which would be equivalent to one monthly LIRR ticket for me (From Jamaica to Floral Park station). But my only concern, is the availability of parking spaces. Does anyone have any experience parking in this lot? Are there usually spots during the morning around 8:00 AM?
How could they sell you a parking pass if you weren't guaranteed a spot?
I have no idea why they would do that. But according to the Floral Park village website anyone can get a parking pass for that parking lot. But they can't actually guarantee you can get a spot.
Are spots available? They sell 24 hour parking passes for people renting in the area so I am wondering if the daytime parking passes for LIRR commuters enable commuters to find spots for the morning commute? In 2020. I know its an older thread.
