Schools may have tickets for tournament games available through the box office, if one is willing to travel to Des Moines.

I was curious as to the kind if support Stony Brook gets on Long Island, as they have been playing really well this year. They have come close to making the NCAA Tournament in recent years and have finally gotten over the hump.

Hofstra was close to making it this year as well.

Tickets for the last few games (prior to making it to Iowa) were sold out. There was a waiting list a mile long for tickets.

Currently there is a $13 promotion (in honor of their 13th seed) for deposits on next year's season tickets.

Stony Brook was in the fortunate position of having the home court for all of their playoff games, which brought quite a lot of fans out of the woodwork. Even student ticket availability was reduced with students who attended over a certain # of games being given preference over the Johnny-come-latelies. Season ticket holders took up a number of tickets, and a very limited number were available to the general public.

The last 5 or 6 years the Seawolves have come thisclose to making it, and in the process have developed a fan base. Making the Big Dance will sell a lot more season tickets.

Locally, places like the Bench and the SBYC had game watching parties.

Yes it is. I was referencing the pictured game (Stony Brook v Vermont, America East sold out final).

Figured I'd revive this thread for this season instead of making a new SB basketball one.

Last year was an amazing experience. I got to attend the America East title game by a lucky happenstance, where I got tickets from Lucas Woodhouse's (guard for the team) family. Wonderful people!

Everyone, myself included, expected a major drop off for the team this season since they were losing so many seniors. But so far so good, coach Boals has the team playing really well!

Hopefully the thread title can be kept the same for this season! It'd still be a daunting task, but at #2 in the conference so far, it seems very possible.
