This guy is trying everything he can to rob Nassau county residents blind. First, it was the taxis whenever the LIRR or NICE bus fails, and now this?!?

Just wait until the fall, we get to see how the GOP held the line on taxes again.....
The county, towns, school districts, villages... mostly broke. I read newspapers from around the country and the world, and haven't seen the likes of this fiscal incompetence anywhere, except for maybe Detroit before it declared bankruptcy.
We pay among the highest taxes, fees and tolls in the country. Everywhere we look and anything we do... they're looking to snatch a hefty fee from us because they're flat broke.
Has anyone noticed this difference between NY and other areas? Even poor states aren't constantly wailing broke, broke, broke.

There are plenty of local governments elsewhere in the country with issues, and there are some local governments here that are in good fiscal shape. Nassau County and the Town of Oyster Bay.......
I wish some class action lawsuit would take hold and get the attention of the US Attorney General because the whole process is entirely unconstitutional. #1 - the enabling legislation Cuomo signed (bye bye next year) doesn't allow for any sort of administrative fee to begin with. #2 - they use the fee as a TAX by shooting tickets to everyone & they squeezing settlements by strong arming people into agreeing to settle AS LONG AS THEY PAY THE ADMINISTRATIVE FEE. So guilty or not - they're just basically running around taking $55 from anyone caught by an unconstitutional, malfunctioning camera. And they intimidate people by taking their driver's license away when they walk in the building- they should be arrested for that in and of themselves. They're scaring people into paying their administrative fee and not fighting charges. They then throw 25 documents out at people who do their hearings - again - intimidation - but lawyers actually looking at each document have been able to throw each one out - they have no witnesses - the documents aren't even admissible - they prove nothing on their own - half of the affidavits were notarized or signed YEARS after they supposidly calibrated the machines - they have nothing to tie a particular vehicle to a particular camera and certainly can't prove anything - the videos they show are meaningless and the photos are too since they don't prove where, when or how anything happened. Its a disgraceful system. They might as well just ring everyone's door bell and collect their $55 a few times a year instead of paying a whole agency to fake a constitutional court process. If they're throwing Mangano in jail - I wish they'd do it already. And his whole staff - our legislatures approving this nonsense are no better.
