I believe the house they bought 15 yrs ago is a lot larger. I don't know all the details between the two homes. There are a lot of homes in Chappaqua in the low 7 figures today.

Again, if that poll surprises you, you are not paying attention.
Do you think Trump will carry NYS excluding NYC? I know he won't win the state overall but even that would be a pretty impressive showing! It's a low bar, but Trump will do better in NYC than Romney. He may get 40-45% of the state which is high for a Republican in NY.

Give me a break. Trump doesn't stand a chance and the reason is simple: Democrats despise him, women loathe him, and virtually all well-educated Republicans would rather vote Democrat than to see the buffoon in office. Why? The Economist put it better than I can do off of the top of my head:

Quote:
Put simply, Mr Trump’s shtick should not be working. In part, that is because he has repeatedly made appeals to bigotry since entering the race more than a year ago. It is dismaying to see so many Americans either nod in agreement or pretend not to hear what he is really saying. To be still more blunt, to anyone with their critical faculties undimmed by partisan rage or calculation, he is obviously a con-man. He is a self-styled billionaire who will not reveal his tax returns and claims credit for acts of charity that others funded. He is a portly 70-year old who likes to insinuate that Mrs Clinton is in desperate health while declining to reveal his own medical records. Then there are his promises to restore American greatness if elected president, and to do this at head-spinning speed (“so fast”, is a favourite Trump boast). In a country long used to fibbing candidates and policy platforms constructed out of flim-flam and magic money, Mr Trump breaks new ground. He is, arguably, the first major party nominee to realise that when working to please a crowd, there is no reason to offer policies that even try to make sense. Just start with the businessman’s most famous promise, that he can make Mexico pay for a 2,000-mile border wall which will stop both illegal migration and drug smuggling: a nonsensical claim that reliably provokes roars of delight at Trump rallies, and chants of “Build That Wall”.

[...]

Mrs Clinton’s analysis of Trumpian bigotry was horribly sweeping. At one point she called some Trump voters “irredeemable”, which was inexcusable. She has further enraged conservatives: some Trump-backers struck defiant poses in hastily printed “Deplorables” T-shirts. But here is another truth, born of today’s deep partisan divisions. Most Trump-backers were lost to Mrs Clinton long ago. If she is lucky, her words will help her, by firing up apathetic Democrats and by depressing the Trump vote among squeamish Republicans—among them moderate professionals and suburban women who do not want to back a bigot.

Never underestimate the power of likability.
And Bushie was elected not once but twice.
So anything is possible, imo

That all may be true, but Hillary is his opponent. He doesn't have to get the most Democrat, female, or Republican-elite votes in history. Just enough to beat a very weak and universally mistrusted candidate.

Let's not forget the 4 Americans hillary got killed. She chalked it up to what difference does it make. A career of corruption, scandals, incompetence and utter stupidity.

As a long time Democrat along with my family and friends will be voting for trump.

Lying hillary has done nothing remarkable in her decades of politics. Nothing will change as commander in chief.

Hillary the real racist has shown her true colors with the deplorables comments.

The "deplorables" comment was ill-advised, but I'm reasonably confident it transcends race. Classist? Maybe.

Well I am a Democrat & I think possible a woman & I don't loathe him. While he has said questionable things. What he can do for our country to Make it Great Again is far better than what Killary will do. Only people that FEAR him right now are the people that stand to lose the most. Like the ones on Public Assistance programs. And the tons of Illegals & Refugees that are destroying...not just LI.We need to get rid of the anchor baby policy...Sanctuary City policy. And the many other ones that are keeping our country down & destroying us financially & in other ways. They keep cutting programs...BUT they find plenty of $$ to bring in all these refugees & send them to our schools? And give free medical & so much more to illegals here...than our own citizens here! You know the elderly ,disabled people that paid TAXES into our system & are collected off of that after working & paying taxes for years & years. The Veterans who risk their lives for our country & come back here to be treated like crap by our Gov't!
Yet we give handouts to people that never paid a penny into the system! Killary will just make that all much worse. The other guy..he will stop the bleeding as best as he can.

Read my new Sanctuary City thread. I do not talk politics ever really as that & religion are never good topic to discuss. But right now the way things are on LI as well as entire country this election is most important one in a long time. Go take a walk right now in Brentwood...then see how you feel if you are a true AMERICAN citizen. If you get out alive that is.

You know when he was first elected I said great. About time we had an a a person like him....was a 1st for our country. Thought it would make a difference..then I also said like many others did a female (Clinton) will be next. At that time I was a bit excited to see that during my lifetime. Now I hope it never happens.

To most people...neither one is a good choice. So either those will not vote...or it will be like head & tails...crapshoot for them. But as the final days come I am sure those people will make a final decision.
