Evidently our indicted county executive Ed Mangano (for some time) has the right to appoint administrative judges to bless any and all $50 red light camera tickets which come with the additional gift of a $100 "safety fee" used to plug the endless budget deficit hole which Ed and his predecessors have created over decades.

I assure you that you are not going to get an objective hearing from Ed Mangano's Kangaroo Court.

It seems that NYS rubber stamped the constitutionality of these courts (and Mangano's appointments) even though this is a clear violation of due process under the law. Ed Mangano's appointments are questionable and they are even more questionable due to his indictment. If convicted anything Ed Mangano has signed may be invalid under law.

When are Nassau Residents and NYS citizens going to stand up to these injustices and to the "tools/criminals" who are in the Democratic and Republican parties alike.

I sold my house in Oceanside (and only remain here as a stopgap until such time as my significant other retires). I am voting with my money. Don't buy a house in Nassau County or NYS.. Don't do it.

Nassau Republicans call for Mangano to step down | News 12 Long Island

I love how the Democrats are crying out about corruption and waste and such.
THEY ARE JUST AS GUILTY AS THE REPUBLICANS.
This is hysterical yet sad at the same time.
C'mon please, don't act all innocent. You clowns are all as dirty your republican counterparts.
It's Nassau. You are ALL dirty. Filthy stinking dirty.

Why the hell did it take most of the Republicans in the county legislature almost six months to ask Mangano to resign??

I think they took their time because it could be them; FBI agents and US AG's (highly political) are few in number vs the massive Democratic & Republican corruption in Nassau and in the State.

The TV show "Billions" touched upon the fact that NY has never divested itself from Tammany Hall (rigged and paid off) political-patronage (pay off) system.

I think we need to question, protest, and buck (via the legal system) EVERYTHING these guys have done over the last 40 years. We either stand up for ourselves or get overrun.

You just said you sold your house and are moving, how much weight do you think your words carry for these people?

As I mentioned a LI Legislator because I asked him a question.

MY point is that YOU have to take responsibility as well.

MY suggestion is that YOU SELL YOUR HOUSE, CERTAINLY DON'T BUY A HOUSE ON LI. VOTE WITH YOUR MONEY!.

If it has an R or D after it's name, it's crooked. Whether they like it or not. Pick a team, live within the rigid ideologies of that team...you're a moron. That gaggle of clowns scrambling to throw each other under a bus while the idiot choir of opposing crooks claps just loud enough to not be noticed. Fortunately these millenials that get scorned on here daily are seeing the 2 party system for the BS it really is. If Citizens United couldn't be stopped by our best and brightest, the system is done. All the pillars are cracked or already toppling. Good.

Nassau county, Town of Hempstead and Oyster Bay have been run by republicans for decades.

What's that got to do with anything.
They're all in on the action together.
A close friend recently won an elected office in Nassau.
He found out quickly just how dirty Nassau politicians are, regardless of party.
