Meh I don’t feel comfortable about the barber shops, nail salons etc being opened just yet. Still need to keep that 6’ distance a little longer imo.
^ First, not everyone can fight it, and the more widespread it becomes, the more that becomes an issue for them. Secondly, we are not simply hiding from it. This is how you kill it in the absence of a vaccine. Before you think what I know you're thinking, the point is it's still the peak (in numbers) right now. As I stated earlier, and what should be obvious to everyone - re-opening at peak with something so potent and pervasive is anything but ideal.
BTW, Sweden's wide-open-door policy for the virus... their death rate (deaths:confirmed cases) seems to be at 12% right now. Rest of the world... 7%. If they want everyone to get it in order to fight it - it ain't workin'.

I have to ask - why are we not willing to learn from others who've been through it? We can't wait a couple more weeks until numbers die down further, but rather risk the numbers climbing to what they were a month ago... and.then.what?
How will stopping people from getting a haircut protect people in nursing homes when they never visit a nursing home? The experts have done a lousy job of protecting nursing home residents. Maybe the workers in nursing homes were not following the guidance that we are forced to follow.
Nursing homes were going to be ground zero for this virus due to age of residents, crowded conditions, and the fact that the workers tended to be poor and lived in areas with high levels of covid positive people.
Cuomo compounded the risk by forcing nursing homes to accept even non resident nursing home covid positive patients while telling the homes that PPE was their problem. Gee didn't Cuomo complain when Trump used the same line on him?
Seems like the bloom is off the rose on Cuomo's real life response to the virus. His press conferences with the nice power point presentation was helpful in giving information but he was really wrong on lots of things.
Any of you reopening mongos not white? How come all the paid protesters are homily looking Caucasians?
