Again, I work from home, so I do not need to be near a train. Also again, I am paying cash, so mortgages/banks are not part of the convo here.

In your price range, the best you can do is a 1-bedroom or maybe a 2-bedroom condo and they are mostly 2-story buildings (some newer ones have 3-stories), so you still have either someone above you or below you.
There is an older condo development in Deer Park with one-story buildings, but none of those are currently available; price would be in the low 300s.
