If that's your justification for the status quo, or for minor improvements to the status quo that still result in us paying much more (on average) than comparable countries for healthcare while still not having universal coverage, fine. Let's try the Singapore model: tiered universal healthcare.
  • If you want the government to pay up to 80% of the cost, then you accept that you don't get choose your own doctor and you'll stay in a shared dormitory setting (with shared bathrooms) at the hospital.
  • If you want to choose your own doctor and have your own private hospital room (with A/C and private bathroom), the government pays 0% and you pay everything.

There are also 3 tiers in between, but you get the idea. If you want "better" service, you pay for it, not the government.

So if you're concerned about things going wrong, long wait times, no problem-ish. Pay everything on your own out-of-pocket, and you can choose your own doctor with your own private room. The poor whom you have no interest in paying higher taxes to help because "you gots yours" only pay up to 20% but in exchange, can't choose their doctors and have to stay in a dorm-like setting.

No question the 1965 NYC blackout was.
Haha always the doom and gloom after X wins the presidency. It's tiring. You can play the same game saying Trump will blame this and that in the next 4 years because he just can't give up a spotlight. Lame, so lame. All of it.

Lines weren’t too long but the wait for a result (FWIW) in some states seems very long. We voted Tuesday (one week ago) and the Associated Press still has not called Alaska, Georgia and North Carolina ...and the Arizona call for Biden may have been premature.

Why would you refer to someone who votes democrat as a sheep? I cant tell you how to feel. You cant tell me how to feel. Let's leave it at that. We had a block party a few years back. My neighbor decorated his front lawn in Trump signs. Nobody cared. Another neighbor this year during the election, hung a big Trump sign on his lawn. Nobody cared. Your problem is you're being fake. If you truly believe what you believe then you would have no problem expressing that. And if your neighbors decided to stop talking to you so be it. But you're living a lie, and that my friend is a bigger sham to me. If you're lying about that, what else are you lying about.

Whoever came up with the "No More BS" slogan for Trump's flag... oh the irony of it. Just wow.
