I can just see it now.

Job interview.

And what school did you go to for Medical Neuro Science? And where did you finish in your class?

Oh yes. That impressive - Andy Boy School.

It’s better than people attending a $50k/yr college, majoring in philosophy and then wanting student loans forgiven because they can’t find a good job.

Indeed.....they haven't figured it out yet, that English Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher was right, way back in the 1940s, when she said, "Socialism is great until you run out of someone else's money".

These BS anarchists don't understand that capitalism is the system that has allowed them to bellyache about how terrible things are, while they still have ample food, clothing, and shelter. If or when the money runs out, then, and only then, when they're literally living in the streets, will they understand how totally stupid they are.....

I am not kidding about the course. If you follow the link you have to do a lot of clicking to get to where a beginning class in anything is offered. I was astounded at the courses they were offering in the link and Medical Neuro science was one of them.

I will never knock learning, but this is just plain silly.

The Bloviating Buffalo Billion Buffoon cares only about himself and his cronies. He’s just auditioning for a Biden admin position and knows if not he’ll easily be re-elected in 2022. NYers deserve everything they vote for.

Andy was just nominated for an Emmy (not a joke...actually it is perfectly fitting).

More precisely he is receiving the Emmy’s Founder’s award: “According to the Emmys, its Founder's Award is given to those who "cross cultural boundaries to touch our common humanity." Past recipients include former Vice President Al Gore, Oprah Winfrey, and Steven Spielberg. The award will officially be presented to Cuomo on November 23. “

And no, one doesn’t have to be a wacky lefty to receive one, but it certainly helps.

Best reaction?

"if we’re lucky, Andrew Cuomo will receive a Nobel Peace Prize for his work in ending suffering in New York’s nursing homes," Washington Examiner's Siraj Hashmi quipped.

Unfortunately, if he is in the Biden Administration, he may have the ability to screw up the nation as opposed to just one state.

Meh - no is going anywhere with a certificate in anything...we did lots of research for our son, who was never on the college track. We looked into certificate programs at local community colleges and they were upfront that they are a jumping off point to a degree not the be-all and end-all. No one is going to medical school off a free certificate from NYS. I know, I know it's NY, it's the best of the best but.... Hopefully anyone signing up for these realizes this but if nothing else maybe it sparks an interest in something without too much investment.

Sounds good to me. I wouldn't expect to bring a certificate from this to a job interview.
If I find something I like then it might make sense to pursue some formal education on the topic.
