I saw a video on lining birds cages with news paper and they say not too because the ink can be poison to them. I use something different to line my birds cage that is non-toxic.

Last time I had a bird maybe 50 years ago we used Newsday. Live and learn.

Although a good use for Newspapers in general is to roll them in logs in the event of a flood or spillage of water as they collect a phenomenal amount of water for their size.

Half the US population voted for a narcissist to attempt to lead an entire country for another 4 years, so forget about sound minds.

is the hate for Newsday just the Fox News crowd unhappy with left leaning coverage? Even if that's the case, 90%-95% of the content has zero to do with politics on a given day.

The population of the United States is over 328 million.
According to Wikipedia 239 million were eligible to vote in the 2020 election.
About 158 million submitted ballots, that is, about 66% of those eligible.
Joe received about 81 million votes.
Don received about 74 million votes.
---
About 23% of the population voted for Don.
About 25% of the population voted for Joe.
---
Many residents were not yet citizens, or they were underage, or they were convicted felons (varies according to state laws on voting).
