My ex crib was pimp. Cidiots were going bananas for it.
I was east of 72. Way east.
Anyway, yeah I’m kinda a real estate junky.
I still check listings from various areas and I am astonished at the prices vs condition of many of these homes. Some deserve a wrecking ball. Some are in pristine condition, although not updated since at least the 70’s. It’s crazy.

I’d take the outdated 1950’s cape any day, all day long, over a McMansion, or even most new construction.
They don’t build them like they used to. Might be outdated but damn them bones are usually pretty good.

its because the houses are all over 100 years old or close to it and have asbestos all over.


plus most of these houses sit on top of a toxic plume....
