Most of the population here has already been subjected to the risks of COVID. So why introduce a new risk in the vaccines to demographics who already survived COVID.
If you're old and at risk, get the vax if you want. If you're young and largely not a risk, little reason to get the vax as it's causing worse side effects in that demographic than COVID did. Blood clots, strokes, seizures, miscarriages and fertility issues in a demographic who if they had COVID wouldn't even know or passed it as a mild flu.
Younger people, 25 and under are silent carriers. So getting them vaxxed does nothing as the vax doesn't prevent them from getting COVID and transferring it to others. They're still silent carriers and all you've done is added the risk of the serous side effects from the vax.
We are still learning how well vaccines prevent you from spreading the virus that causes COVID-19 to others, even if you do not have symptoms.

We are still learning how many people have to be vaccinated against COVID-19 before most people can be considered protected (population immunity).
We are still learning how effective the vaccines are against new variants of the virus that causes COVID-19.
So, just like everything else we have been hearing for the past year, "they don't know" because "we are still learning." Although, I'm more worried about what they do know and don't tell us.

I don’t go by the cdc as they have had so much misinformation put out ..I use other sources like Israeli studies
Imagine advocating that people be vaccinated at gunpoint and also not trusting the CDC. Between this and you stinking up a dozen threads over multiple forums with your no good very bad Covid nightmare, I’m starting to believe those people who say the virus messes with your brain.
Only reason I post so much on the subject is because posters here make comments and base what they do , based on believing their own bull sh*t and not science and facts .
They turn to sources with agendas that feed them all kinds of unfounded garbage.
Then they effect the health of others with their own stupidity.
The vaccines work ,end of story ..Vaccines are our only way out like it or not because if everyone thought like you and others we would be another India.
But you want others to do the work while you do nothing to get us out of this mess ..

I don’t post here to change your mind, bucko. I post to change the mind of the viewing audience. My “sources with agendas” are the CDC and FDA. Not sure what agenda you think they have. If anything they’re far more on your side than mine, even if their raw numbers agree with me.

So you choose the data that fits your opinion and disregard the data that doesn't. Nothing wrong with that. It just makes any claims your opinion, not settled fact.
I don't trust the teacher union either - oh wait, I mean the CDC (same thing, really). However, they are definitely on the "get the vaccine" bandwagon, as are just about all government entities. Since they are actively selling the vaccine concept, it should make you stop and wonder why they come right out and state "we don't know."
Of course, the vaccines work. I don't think anyone is doubting that. What they don't know is:
How long the vaccine is effective for.
How well the vaccine prevents you from spreading the virus.
What, if any, are the potential long-term side effects of the vaccine.
There is also no definitive answer as to the effectiveness of the vaccine vs. natural immunity of those who have been infected. They definitely have no idea if administering the vaccine to those who have antibodies as a result of the infection does anything at all - good or bad.
You seem to believe that adding the vaccine on top of natural immunity is a good thing. More power to you.
I was in the same hospital you claim to have been in. I was released with a piece of paper telling me I am immune. Due to various complications, I was seen by about eight different doctors (not including the ER). While they were all very high on the idea of getting a vaccine, every one of them agreed it was pointless for me since I have the antibodies. My pulmonologist begrudgingly admitted the same thing. My antibodies remain very high.
I'll go with my natural immunity for now. If I do consider the vaccine, it will be when my natural immunity wears off. That will probably be around the time your vaccine wears off and you need your next shot.
The media and government have been peddling this fear porn for over a year now. I refuse to be influenced by it. I find it absurd to get a vaccine for a virus I am immune to.
You too are likely believing your own bull … Unless you had a very sophisticated anti body test which is not the one you get when they see if you had contact you have no idea what your immunity is .
They actually need to do a very costly test which most labs can’t … they need to test not for a contact protein but a memory cell , T cell , B cell response test .
So good luck with that natural immunity you think you have.. I thought I had a great immune system too , never in A hospital in my life , maybe a cold a year …
