1400 Fired just from Northwell. Hero’s to ZEROS. It was OK for them to work with little or zero PPE, Obviously no vaccines, short staffed, unwanted OT, the list goes on. All while many stayed HOME collecting unemployment & stimulus checks.

Fire them all! “Where here from the Government, and I’m here to help”. The path to socialized medicine! After all, it’s all Covid related.

The hypocrisy is disgusting.
These people were perfectly good enough to work long, hard hours with a face diaper planted on their mugs their entire shift until we were told they’re no good anti vax villains. And like morons, we just roll with it.
Absolutely disgusting. We should be ashamed of ourselves for going along with this.
They were heroes when they were the only ones there to comfort your loved ones when hospitals were off limits. The stories of them being there to comfort people as they took their last breath. But now, they’re no good murdering super spreading selfish buttholes right?
I just can’t believe it. I really can’t.

She said she was going to bring in the national guard or hire immigrants to replace the Unvaccinated

What will this do to worker morale?

It’s beyond mind boggling. Not only were they in the trenches without adequate PPR during the whole pandemic most of them already had Covid. Why is here no talk of any immunity anymore? Why did that just vanish?

I just can’t wrap my head around it.
They were “heroes” with commercials praising them, murals painted everywhere, constant news pieces about their struggles and stress, celebrity benefits and writing songs and whatever, the whole 9.
And like that…bam! Evil murdering anti vax no good selfish so and so’s and “whiny babies”.
It’s just beyond unbelievable.

This is the U.S. where “at-will” employment rules the day. No matter how much blood, sweat, and time you invest in your job, your employer can simply kick you to the curb.

My European colleagues (even the junior ones) have contracts.

A judge ruled that natural immunity is not a defense for covid.

So if you got covid this offers you no relief from a mandatory vaccine for your job.

If you take the vaccine and get sick with covid, it offers you no relief from a mandatory booster

The vaccine offers you no relief from wearing your mask

Lovely right?

I heard the ceos of the the pharmaceutical companies are now the richest in the world thanks to covid

https://www.usnews.com/news/top-news...tural-immunity

A U.S. judge upheld the University of California's COVID-19 vaccine requirement against a challenge by a professor who alleged he had immunity due to a prior coronavirus infection, in what appears to be the first ruling on the issue.

U.S. District Court Judge James Selna in Santa Ana, California, said the university system acted rationally to protect public health by mandating the vaccine and not exempting individuals with some level of immunity from an infection.

More than 43 million Americans have had confirmed cases of COVID-19 and some opponents of vaccinations have argued that immunity from an infection negates the need for an inoculation.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said on Aug. 6 that a study showed vaccines offer better protection than natural immunity gained from prior infection, which wanes over time.
