Newsday’s running out of bad news on Covid so today’s headline is cases of covid in the public schools. And percentage increases. If we knew absolutely nothing about kids and covid this would be scary.
And they’re still running the percentage vaccinated tables. If we knew absolutely nothing about natural immunity these sort of numbers would seem relevant. If we knew absolutely nothing about the waning effects of the vaccine we’d think those numbers actually signify something.

Since so many of the ‘fully vaccinated’ subsequently get infected (and, of course, can carry and spread the respiratory virus to Canada, etc.) this change doesn’t pass the giggle test. The meaningless ‘full vaccination card’ is the perfect virtue signal and precisely what I would expect Canada (and California and Massachusetts) to demand.
(This is separate and apart from the wildly shifting parameters regarding what it means to be ‘fully vaccinated’.)
When was the last time you even knew someone who has COVID? At the height of it I knew a number of people who had COVID but it has been awhile since someone said they have it. If the media wasn't pushing their agenda we wouldn't even be aware of COVID at this point.
