Nevada is reporting more than 1,000 new COVID-19 cases in data released today.
Clark County has updated its counts on breakthrough cases — COVID-19 cases among people who are fully vaccinated. As of Sept. 30, the health district reports there are 158 breakthrough deaths, 482 breakthrough hospitalizations. That’s an increase of 12 deaths, 32 hospitalizations and 720 new cases since last week’s report.
Could you please post the link that shows that 50 percent of the dead or hospitalized are vaccinated because I see no such percentages anywhere.
Based on your abundance of posts we know you have the capability of making a link, so now show the link that backs up your claim.

Why can't you read?out of 1000 new cases over 150 FULLY VACCINATED people died
Over 450 FULLY VACCINATED people in the ICU
That's more then 50% of the 1000
That's real world data, as dr Fauci said the cdc has stopped tracking breakthrough cases..
Reread your link genius. The first paragraph talks about 1000 new covid cases released on September 30th.
The 150 dead and 450 in the icu refering to the vaccinated is since the pandemic started NOT what happened in the data for the day on September 30th. It refers to over 10,000 breakthrough cases .
450/10000 = 4.5 percent of those who vaccinated who wound up in the hospital.
150/10000 = 1.5 percent of those who vaccinated died
Thanks Cablegeek for restoring my faith in mankind that some people can still read and do basic math.
Broke and 30 subscribes to the simian tossing of fecal matter for his debating.
Broke that means you just throw **** against a wall to see what sticks because evidently you cant even understand your own links.
This link shows almost 80% of COVID cases are amongst the unvaccinated and a significantly lower death rate amongst the vaccinated.
Vaccinated Death Rate per 100K population = 14
Unvaccinated Death Rate per 100K population = 447
Vaccinated Case Rate per 100K population = 959
Unvaccinated Case Rate per 100K population = 25225
Why use the divisor "per 100K population"? If you are vaccinated you really are concerned with your probability of getting Covid as part of the vaccinated population. Since, Nevada has a very low rate of vaccination the probability is much higher than indicated in their pdf.
Technically, Im not sure any are fired yet. They just cant go back to work until they are vaccinated. Right now, they are suspended without pay.
Does anyone know how long the suspended without pay will last before they are considered fired for refusing to vaccinate?
As far as I know, no one does know. That's another reason for the shortage, because any replacements could only be temporary at this point. There are no permanent positions available if the people holding those positions are suspended without pay and expected to return at some point vaccinated.
Totally anecdotal, but at one company I'm very familiar with all employees this year who tested positive for COVID (I can't remember the number but it was low) were vaccinated. None had more than a brief bad cold, nobody missed work as they just worked from home and all were back in the office after the usual isolation period.
This makes sense as they have a high rate of vaccinated employees and the shots don't stop one from catching it.
And yes, the pandemic and vaccine is being used for political gain but that is starting to backfire. If you tell people to do XYZ and that will make the pandemic magically go away, and they do it but the pandemic sticks around then you have few people willing to do it again. Also the enforcement mechanisms aren't there.
BTW We always have a healthcare crisis going on somewhere, somehow as that's what happens when you have hospitals and insurance companies wanting to make a profit, and States and tax payers not wanting to pay too much for healthcare.
