Don’t bother. In 10 years it’ll be all electric cars with speed governors and law enforcement navigation mitigation software installed.

It's an interstate highway, not sure we can blame the local politicians.
Although the LIE is an interstate highway, it's patrolled by the Nassau and Suffolk county police departments. Oftentimes interstate highways are patrolled by the state police , but this is Long Island.
