Hi, I brought the house 3 years ago and previous owner didn't have c/o for widened driveway. I got a notice of violation from town of oyster bay and required to legalize it. Can anyone recommend a good expeditor to handle this type of violation?

Thanks in advance.

I used Long Island Perfect Permits for a variance in the Town of Oyster Bay. They were great.

I though widening of drive ways were legal and doesn't need permit unless the sidewalk and apron or skirts were touched?

did you widen just the driveway by your lot?

or the sidewalk also?

If they widened the driveway and changed the curb cut, they need a permit.

Curious how the heck the town found that out. On my block, houses have single and double car driveways. A couple houses even have triple car driveway.
