Leaf Filter - Any advice.. (sales, home, price)

Hello,

My home is a colonial home and gutters very high for me to clean. So I was looking into Leaf Filter. Sales person stopped by and gave a quote for $2K. After that he said he can give all kinds of discount and at the end. He stopped at $875. He is like I need to act on this now otherwise I will lose this promo. :-)

Any one used Leaf Filter, is it worth it, from doing simple Google, it seems reviews are not good.

Just wanted to find out from anyone in Long Island used Leaf Filter. Thank you so much.

I called them to clean our gutters and put leaf guards. The guy quoted be almost $5K! I was like WTF! asked if they could come down in price and he came down 500.00. Big deal. Said not interested. I have a ranch and detached garage that need gutter cleaning and leaf guards. So we ordered our own gutter guards from Costco. total cost was about 300.00 cleaned our own gutters and put in the guards. Granted it took more than one day because my husband is not in great shape and has back issues. 1 year later they texted me to see if I wanted them to come and do the job and I said no thanks we did ourselves and blocked their number. I called a few local places I found online but no one calls back. One company made an appt to come give an estimate never showed up.

I did Costco too. I bought them in the warehouse. They were very easy to install. I needed 6' more than I bought. I called the manufacturer to see if they would sample me some and they graciously did. Would definitely recommend.

yeah we needed way more than 6 we got 2 boxes and we did them ourselves. So far they have held up with recent high winds we have had. I am happy with them.

I called them and they gave me a 6000 quote first then went down to 4000 after the lengthy presentation. I said sorry no thanks. If you get a bad install it can take months or years or never get it right. Look at their reviews
