It charts every school district in Nassau and Suffolk Counties and it is interesting how enrollment in many, if not most districts has declined from 2000-2001 to 2020-2021.
Also, I'm wondering if this is occurring in regards to private schools on Long Island as well? Have many families just decided to go with private and even newer charter options now?

Well what we will see is more of a demographic shift in higher income neighborhoods . Immigrants still have large families so this will keep schools from closing and faculty from losing jobs.
Does it list the percentage of illegal alien kids?
Yeah I wonder how they factor the Hispanic numbers.
Supposedly this is by census numbers right?

There’s a few districts I saw that I said to myself, there is way more than that number enrolled.
