Does anyone know where I can get Roof Antenna Installation done for a reasonable price?

I called Dish and sling... They stopped doing it

I tried my attic, reception is still not that great.

I want to cut the cord, can anyone please help?

nycdoctor - I don't mean to be rude, but your previous post was asking for an honest/reasonably priced electrician and now this...again with the reasonable price aspect being important.

How about you hire someone to install the antenna without knowing what it will cost, and then a few months later you get a bill for an arbitrary amount?

Isn't that how doctor's operate?

Ah, are you cutting the cord on Internet too? If not, try streaming. There are many free aps. Roku is also another method, although you will need to pay about $60 for the ROKU itself.

I'm in my 70s and used a ladder and some care to install my own antenna. It's not rocket science if you are mobile enough to get on the roof or a ladder, it's pretty easy.
Find where cable enters your house, disconnect the cable feed, buy a 50 or 100 foot coaxial outdoor cable. Attach one end to the mounted antenna and the other end where you disconnected the cable feed to the house. Bingo OTA reception. It took me less than 2 hours and I used a couple of extra mounting brackets (from hardware store) because we often get winds upward of 50 MPH on our mountain top.

Don't forget when another electrician arrives on the job to "consult" for 5 minutes and you get a whopper of a bill from that electrician.

Or when the "electrician" double/triple books and keeps you waiting for two hours.

And you won't actually see the electrician you booked, you'll get an apprentice.

Really crazy...the original poster works in the one profession where customers are expected to receive services without having any idea what they will cost...yet they are focused on reasonable prices when seeking out services they are in need of.
