This might turn around for a very short period. Delaying cuts only thru the midterms.

The $4 & $5 dollar gas, WOW $3 gas would be a non-issue if the current administration hadn't killed Keystone, stopped drilling permits and depleted our strategic reserves.

Just less than two years ago the US was an energy independent/ net exporter of oil with a topped off strategic reserve. All I can ask is what possibly could have happened since Jan 20, 2020 that would elicit such a turnaround of good fortune?

Lol. Basically bribing the Saudis til after Election Day so they don’t look any worse than they already do. I swear I am almost convinced that they actually want to ruin the country and that there may be a little truth to all the conspiracy stuff.

Temporary lull in gas prices to get the rubes to vote D in november. Then it will shoot right back up. Remember how high gas prices were during the entire 8 years of Obama? Democrats don't want cheap gas, they want everyone magically driving a Tesla.

Bad orangeman gave us energy indepedence, but the rubes didn't like his mean tweets. Now our entire economy is screwed because we are dependent on foreign oil sources.

Hmm couldn't have been this little thing called very few people drove during the height of COVID that sent demand tumbling.....

And of course the stopping of drilling permits is completely false

Gas prices were much lower BEFORE Covid hit. Try again.

No. It could be a thing called energy independence, which the US was until 2020. Since we closed down the Keystone pipeline, we are back to begging foreign terrorists for oil and gas. Great strategy, huh?

Obviously there has been one misstep after another regarding energy production here in the US the last couple of years and the Saudis aren’t helping us out at this point.

I’m not sure the global warming crew is happy we’re begging foreign entities for oil after cutting off our own supply but that’s something the new Congress will have to unravel (along with the economy, crime, the border, etc.)
