Ha! I paid 2.75 at the Bayshore Shell Station on Montauk highway thanks to my Stop and Shop gas rewards. It was 3.25 but I had 50 cents off a gallon.

Still nearly $1 more than the Trump years. Hey, let’s raise gas’s from $2/gal to $5/gal for a while and then we can lower it down to $3/ gal and tell everyone what great job they are doing by lowering the cost of gas. What a joke!

Completely unacceptable. Wait til the election is over. Look for $5 again. Oh, and be sure to let them use the hurricane in Florida as their BS excuse, just like they did with the Ukraine wall. All fake news and the mass of morons will fall for it

I wonder if there was something that happened in 2020 that impacted demand which caused gas prices to drop. What could that possibly have been....

At this point that argument is a dead horse. It’s a back and forth that nobody will win.
The focus should be getting the prices back down, at least to the 2020 prices(less would be great!).
Especially fuel oils. Some people just scraping by as it is will be devastated if the prices don’t drop.
It almost buried me back in ‘08 or so. I can’t even remember how long it took me to pay off that winters heating bill. Hell, I might still owe money on that one.
